You will notice that we consistently refer to the products we sell under the general category of "Security Screws" as being "Tamper Resistant" and they truly are tamper resistant. However, some people refer to the same products as being "Tamper Proof", TamperProof or Tamper-Pruf. The latter of these two terms are trade name of companies who manufacture and sell security screws and does not indicate that they are actually tamper proof. Anyone using the term tamper proof screw or tamperproof screws is misguided and you will not ever see us advertise our products as being tamper proof. Some may even call them tamperproof bolts but we will stick to the term Tamper Resistant Screws.
There are many varieties of tamper resistant screws which we have shown on the free table of security screw types page of this web site. This web site store only has the hex socket pin-head screw and Torx pin-head screw in its database. However, we do carry some of the other types and you can get pricing by calling our toll free number. Since we also have a web site dedicated to Torx drive screws, we have consistently referred to the drive type on this web site as "pin-head" to differentiate it from the normal non-security Torx drive screws. On occasion, we may refer to it as pin head, pinhead or pin-head but these uses are for the sole purpose of satisfying the requirements of certain computer systems.
